After Berne and Bruges, Charles the Bold has arrived in Vienna. Magnificent tapestries, illuminated manuscripts and exquisite goldsmith works – such as the celebrated “St. George’s reliquary” from Liège – are among the highlights of this spectacular show. The life and times of Charles the Bold are presented in thematic sections, inviting visitors to marvel at magnificent international loans and the important holdings of the Kunsthistorisches Museum.
